Scott McMahon - Producer, Writer and Director
Has been creating cinematic content for the various PlayStation platforms for the past 11
years. After juggling numerous freelance jobs as an independent filmmaker and video production artist, McMahon landed a position at Sony Interactive Studios America as a multimedia artist. McMahon produced video content for the marketing department during the day, while at night; he created opening cinematic movies for several of the PlayStation titles in development. Within a few years, McMahon had built a one-man multimedia department into a full service cinematic studio with a staff that exceeded 200 artists and technicians.
The cinematic department operated with an independent filmmaking mind-set. Budgets were limited, so the focus on content and story became vital to the growth and success. McMahon’s department created and provided services ranging from animated 3D/CG content, 2D motion graphics, conceptual art and design, live action production, digital editing, compositing, and HD production services. After spending the past few years negotiating artistic production within the corporate confines, McMahon has enthusiastically joined VisionScape Interactive, to provide his expertise as independent producer, writer and director. |
